What is a natural disaster?
A natural disaster is a disaster that happens naturally out of no where, for example floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, avalanches, tornadoes, landslides, sinkholes, wildfires, tsunamis, sand storms and hail storms.

What is an earthquake?
An earthquake is something that shakes the ground which rips apart or pushes together, and destroys the surface we walk all along on. It is noticed as one of the main disaster in the world.


How do earthquakes happen?
Earthquakes happen when two large pieces of earths crust separate and crumble away. This causes shock waves to shake the surface of the earth, which is now causing an soft, medium or violent shake called an earthquake. Earthquakes usually occur on the edges of large sections of the earths plates.
